Norris led the standings with a time of 1 minute and 30.727 seconds, narrowly beating Charles Leclerc by less than one-tenth of a second.
Over the past weekend in Azerbaijan, the primary competition seems to be between McLaren and Ferrari at the leading edge.
Russell experienced a tense moment towards the end, hitting the barrier at Turn 8.

Leclerc experienced a significant incident while recording his quickest lap, making contact with the barrier as he came out of Turn 14. Importantly, it appears his vehicle emerged without any damage.

Leclerc quickly outpaced Albon by setting a new record time of 1m31.665s, surpassing his own fastest lap from FP1.
Leclerc leads Ferrari teammate Sainz by a margin of 0.265 seconds, while Albon falls to third place, lagging by half a second.

The Ferrari driver clocks in at 1 minute, 32.788 seconds, putting him 0.820 seconds ahead of McLaren's Norris.

"Although our Baku rear wing meets the regulatory requirements and has successfully passed all FIA deflection tests, McLaren has voluntarily agreed to implement a few minor modifications to the wing after discussions with the FIA."
Additionally, it's anticipated that the FIA will engage in comparable discussions with various teams regarding the adherence of their rear wings to regulations.
