Jorge Martin Stands Firm on Riding Style Despite Recent Crashes
Jorge Martin vows to maintain his current riding approach, despite experiencing several falls from the lead position in races since the previous season.
Before the summer hiatus, Jorge Martin suffered a fall in the German MotoGP while ahead of Francesco Bagnaia.
He experienced a blunder akin to the one in Jerez, where he once more crashed while ahead of the current world champion.
Inquired about altering his strategy after the incident at Sachsenring, Martin responded, "Not particularly. My method involves examining any crash to grasp the reasons behind it and enhance future performances."
"However, I believe that up until that point, I had been the top performer in Germany, so it's essential for me to maintain the same mindset, continue with my riding style, and aim to be both aggressive and the quickest."
"However, each race is unique, and it's crucial to recognize our opportunities at each circuit."
Martin swiftly highlighted that although he understands the reason behind his crash, he has no intention of altering his approach to riding.
The Spanish rider commented, "On one hand, it's beneficial because I understand the reason. However, the downside is that it's quite challenging to pinpoint while I'm on the bike."
"I believe it's advantageous for me to be aware and investigate further."
"During the training sessions, I aim to enhance my skills in that area, and thankfully, I've received some insightful suggestions from my teammates that might assist me. Let's find out."
"I have no intention of altering my riding style since it's the very reason I've reached where I am today. I plan to keep doing things as I have been."
