Jorge Martin Resolute in Riding Style Despite Recent Crashes: ‘I Will Continue the Same Way
Jorge Martin says he will keep riding the same way even though he has crashed while leading multiple races since last season.
Before the summer break, Jorge Martin had an accident and crashed out of the German MotoGP while he was leading the race ahead of Francesco Bagnaia.
The incident was akin to what happened in Jerez, where he once more crashed while leading the race, ahead of the current world champion.
When questioned about whether his strategy will shift after the incident at Sachsenring, Martin responded: "Not particularly. Whenever I experience a crash, I aim to analyze the situation to comprehend the cause and make improvements for the future."
"I believe that up until that point, I was the best in Germany. I need to maintain this mindset, continue riding in the same way, and strive to be aggressive and the fastest."
"Each race varies, and it’s crucial to identify our opportunities at each circuit."
Martin emphasized that although he understands the reason for his crash, he is not willing to alter his riding style.
The Spaniard commented, "On one hand, it's positive because I understand the reason. On the other hand, it's challenging to recognize while I'm riding."
"I believe it is preferable for me to be informed and able to investigate."
"During practice sessions, I plan to focus on improving in that area, and I've received some suggestions from my team that might be helpful. We'll see how it goes."
"I plan to keep riding the way I always have because it’s what brought me success. I will maintain my current approach."
