Jack Miller Faces Uncertain MotoGP Future: No Contracts and WorldSBK Prospects Loom
Jack Miller reveals he has "no offers" currently, making his future in MotoGP uncertain
Jack Miller states, "It's all speculation because, truthfully, right now I don't have anything. Not a single contract."
Jack Miller seems to be heading towards an exit from MotoGP, having revealed that he has yet to receive any form of contract proposal.
Miller, set to lose his KTM riding spot to Pedro Acosta, is rumored to be considering a move to WorldSBK as another option.
In response to inquiries about what lies ahead, Miller remarked, "It's merely speculation because, to tell the truth, currently I have nothing."
"Not a single agreement in place. Might be on our way back, taking an early exit. Time will tell."
For the first time, the Australian expressed strong support for a possible move to the Superbike championship.
"Certainly. The standard in that league is exceptional," the KTM rider stated in response to inquiries about his interest in WorldSBK.
"I find the championship to be quite exciting. The trio of races really appeals to me. Ultimately, my passion is racing, so having three races is genuinely awesome."
"Don't ever rule anything out. I truly believed I had additional contributions to make in this situation. However, time will tell. I remain optimistic until every opportunity is exhausted."
To be frank, the outlook isn't positive. We're committed to making improvements during the latter part of the season. While the summer break was enjoyable, it also presented its challenges.
Numerous factors need consideration, alongside the conclusion of various matters.
Every positive experience eventually concludes, yet it's particularly challenging when such a conclusion arrives unexpectedly, as it often does in racing. Given my contributions to the sport and my ongoing potential to contribute, facing an untimely end is difficult.
As I've mentioned before, it's not finished until it's officially concluded. My focus is on delivering strong performances and, with some luck, receiving a call eventually.
Should Miller exit MotoGP, the global championship will be parting with a significant personality.
Additionally, the rider brings invaluable expertise from having piloted a Honda, Ducati, and, notably, the RC16.
In response to a question about whether individuals quickly forget his accomplishments, Miller stated, "I'd prefer not to say much about that."
"I'm aware of my actions, my origins, and the journey of my career. However, if a team or individuals fail to recognize the worth in it, then that's just the way things are."
"I can only perform to the best of my ability. I'm unable to convince others or do anything beyond that."
