### “Jack Miller Faces Uncertain Future in MotoGP: ‘I Want to Be Here, But If It’s Over, It’s Over
Jack Miller expresses his desire to continue racing in MotoGP through the 2025 season, but acknowledges that if his career ends, he will accept it. He reflects on surpassing his own expectations but admits he still has a strong drive to compete.
Jack Miller has candidly discussed the very real chance of not being part of the MotoGP lineup next year.
Pedro Acosta, who is exceptionally skilled, is set to take Miller's place in KTM's factory team in 2025.
At first, he thought he would be switching teams and joining the Tech3 crew. However, just a few hours before the news was officially announced, he got a call informing him that Enea Bastianini and Maverick Vinales had been recruited.
With limited choices left, Miller's future is hanging by a thread.
When questioned about whether he aims to continue as a MotoGP rider in 2025, Miller responded to Motosan, saying, "My intention is definitely to remain. I want to stay here."
“I can’t imagine being anywhere else. I believe I’m continuing to improve each day."
"Additionally, I'm just 29 years old. The issue is that I started in MotoGP at the age of 19. So, people have known me for a long time, but I am aging."
Next year, Johann Zarco will be the most senior participant in MotoGP at the age of 35, while Marc Marquez will be 32.
Miller, who is still youthful, shared his thoughts: "Precisely. However, I sense that I am becoming more robust in mind, body, and overall. Therefore, I wish to remain here."
"If my career were to come to an end tomorrow, I wouldn't feel let down."
"Despite accomplishing more than I ever thought possible, I still feel driven and eager to achieve even more."
"I aim to achieve more top finishes, victories, and strong performances before I retire."
Miller emphasized that if his MotoGP career concludes in the near future, he will hold no grudges.
"I'm not concerned in the slightest," he remarked. "I consider myself very fortunate."
"Ruby and I possess a lovely home in Australia. We have our own vehicles and all necessities are taken care of."
“I refuse to just go home and be idle for the remainder of my life.”
“But if you consider a typical individual finishing school and beginning a career or any other pursuit, we actually have a remarkable beginning in life."
"We are incredibly fortunate, and I have been involved in this for a decade now, which brings me great joy."
"Each morning when I wake up, I reflect on how, if I were to quit the next day, the memories I've made and the influence I've had on the sport exceed anything I ever dreamed of."
“To express it differently, I am not content with my accomplishments.”
"I feel content, yet I believe there's still more I can contribute."
"If it's come to an end, then it's truly over. I'm not going to cling to a fantasy that's fading away. I refuse to be that person."
Last season, Brad Binder outshone his teammate Miller during their initial year on KTM.
This year began promisingly with a fifth-place finish in Portimao, but that performance has not been replicated. Meanwhile, Acosta's impressive form has increased the pressure on other KTM riders.
Available positions for 2025 include spots with Gresini Ducati and VR46 Ducati, but Miller is not expected to join either team.
LCR and Repsol Honda have not yet signed a rider for their teams but are expected to retain their current roster.
Yamaha has suggested that their factory team will renew Alex Rins' contract.
The only remaining options for Miller are Trackhouse Aprilia or Pramac Yamaha.
