However, Castrol will not hold the title sponsorship position in 2025.
Castrol, an oil company based in the United Kingdom, is currently collaborating with the LCR Honda MotoGP team. This partnership is set to continue until 2025.
Honda is set to part ways with Repsol, a Spanish oil firm, which will no longer be their main sponsor after the current season concludes.
This will conclude a three-decade-long collaboration, marking the close of a remarkable era of achievements.
Repsol and Honda were closely associated with the manufacturer's most successful period in MotoGP, especially during the championship wins of Marc Marquez.
Repsol and Honda collectively secured 15 championships for riders.
However, after Marquez left Honda last year, Repsol's dedication to supporting the company lessened.
This season, the MotoGP team is racing with a reduced display of Repsol branding on their motorcycles.
While their separation has been established for some time, the arrival of Castrol in 2025 would mark a significant shift for Honda's factory team.
The team will have Joan Mir and Luca Marini as their riders once more for the upcoming season.
Romano Albesiano, the newly appointed technical director, along with test rider Aleix Espargaro, are set to join efforts in supporting the faltering initiative.
