Bagnaia and Marquez were seen making angry gestures towards one another in the gravel following the incident, but it initially appeared that they had not sustained any serious injuries.
Marquez drifted off course while holding onto third place, with just six laps left in the race.
Bagnaia, starting from the fourth spot, attempted to pass him.
Bagnaia's Ducati appeared to be closely trailing right behind Marquez's front.
The two bicycles became entangled as they veered off the path.
For a few moments, Bagnaia found himself trapped below Marquez's Ducati during their slide.
However, he stood up and motioned towards Marquez, indicating that he was fine.
He departed, his leathers ripped and worn on his arm, yet possibly lucky that the harm wasn't more severe.
Bagnaia visited the medical facility for an examination.
Less than half an hour after their mishap, Bagnaia and Marquez were seen strolling through the paddock, no longer in their racing suits, appearing to be without injuries.
Stewards are currently conducting an investigation into the incident.
Defending MotoGP champion Bagnaia started Sunday three points behind Jorge Martin, the current leader in the championship standings.
Martin's second-place finish in Sunday's Aragon MotoGP has put him at the top of the championship standings with a 23-point lead.
Marc Marquez emerged victorious in the race.
