Bagnaia and Marquez were seen making angry gestures towards each other in the gravel following the incident, but it seemed at first that they had not sustained any serious injuries.
Marquez drifted off course while trying to maintain his third-place spot, with six laps left in the race
Starting from the fourth spot, Bagnaia attempted to pass him.
The rear of Bagnaia's Ducati appeared firmly attached to the front of Marquez's bike.
The two bicycles became entangled as they veered off the path.
For a brief period, Bagnaia found himself trapped beneath Marquez's Ducati during their slide.
However, he stood up and motioned towards Marquez, indicating that he was fine.
He departed, his leathers scratched and worn on his arm, yet possibly lucky that the harm wasn't more severe.
Bagnaia visited the medical facility for an examination.
Less than half an hour after their mishap, Bagnaia and Marquez were seen strolling through the paddock area, having shed their racing suits, and appeared to be without injury.
Stewards are currently looking into the matter.
Defending MotoGP title-holder Bagnaia began Sunday three points behind the current championship front-runner, Jorge Martin.
Securing the second place on Sunday at the Aragon MotoGP, Martin has now moved to the top of the championship standings, with a 23-point lead.
Marc Marquez emerged victorious in the race.
