Following the incident, Bagnaia and Marquez were seen exchanging heated gestures in the gravel, but initially, it appeared that neither had sustained significant injuries.
With six laps left, Marquez veered off course while trying to hold onto third place.
Bagnaia, starting from the fourth spot, attempted a pass on him.
Bagnaia's Ducati appeared to be glued to Marquez's front end.
The two bicycles became entangled and veered off course.
For a few moments, Bagnaia found himself trapped under Marquez's Ducati during their slide.
However, he stood up and motioned towards Marquez, indicating that he was fine.
He departed, his leathers scratched and worn on his arm, yet possibly lucky that the harm wasn't more severe.
Bagnaia visited the medical facility for an examination.
Within half an hour following their mishap, Bagnaia and Marquez were observed strolling through the paddock, no longer wearing their racing suits, and appeared to be unharmed.
Stewards are conducting an investigation into the incident.
Current MotoGP titleholder Bagnaia began Sunday three points behind the leading contender for the championship, Jorge Martin.
Martin's second-place finish at Sunday's Aragon MotoGP has propelled him into the championship lead, now holding a 23-point advantage.
Marc Marquez emerged victorious in the race.
