Pecco Bagnaia Receives Classic Motorcycle as Nuptial Present

Francesco Bagnaia received a touching present for his nuptials in the form of two of his former motorcycles.

Last weekend in Italy, Bagnaia exchanged vows with his longtime partner Domizia Castagnini, a familiar face in the MotoGP paddock alongside him.

Attendees featured Valentino Rossi, other members of the VR46 team, and distinguished representatives from Ducati.

Bagnaia was captured in a photo with two unique gifts, his previous motorcycles.

In 2010, at the age of 13, Bagnaia rode a Metrakit Pre-GP, notable for its 125cc engine and distinctive red and white color scheme.

He eventually rejoined his Moto3 Sky Racing Team VR46 KTM.

Bagnaia competed in Moto3 for three years but never managed to win the championship.

"Achieve your objectives but always remember your beginnings," Bagnaia shared on social media, accompanied by photos of his early motorcycles.

"I appreciate you all; you've brought joy to me."

Bagnaia's marriage captured significant attention in Italy, where he is a well-known figure in sports.

Having secured consecutive MotoGP titles, Bagnaia became the inaugural Italian victor in the premier class following Rossi.

In 2022, he halted the 15-year championship drought for the Italian manufacturer Ducati.

Bagnaia outperformed Fabio Quartararo and Jorge Martin, securing the championship title in the concluding rounds for two consecutive years.

Currently, he holds a 10-point advantage over Martin at the top of the MotoGP rankings, leading into next weekend's race at Silverstone.
