Francesco Bagnaia: "I rarely get into conflicts or disputes with others"

Francesco Bagnaia reveals that his drive and commitment "will always be present" in his quest for MotoGP success.

Francesco Bagnaia is poised to secure his third consecutive MotoGP title after reclaiming the top spot in the championship standings in Germany.

Bagnaia, who hadn't been at the top of the rankings since his victory in the season's first race in Qatar, capitalized on yet another error by Jorge Martin.

As Martin lost control despite being in a favorable position at Sachsenring, Bagnaia remained composed, seized the lead, and sent a strong message to his competitors.

Throughout 2024, as well as in his overall career, Bagnaia has faced numerous challenges. Nevertheless, his remarkable mental resilience has played a significant role in his ongoing achievements.

Apart from Marc Marquez, Bagnaia could be the most mentally resilient rider, positioning him excellently to handle any challenges.

In an interview with Icon Magazine, Bagnaia opened up about his mindset, stating, "I will always have determination. Although I'm shy, I'm also very driven and a diligent worker."

"I rarely find myself in conflicts or disputes with others. My natural tendency is to move quickly; on the track, each action is carefully planned, each decision intentional."

"I am my own harshest critic."

Enea Bastianini, a teammate of Bagnaia, echoed this sentiment by stating, "Once he makes up his mind, he pursues it without hesitation."

For the last two seasons, Bastianini has partnered with Bagnaia at the Lenovo Ducati team.

However, this situation will shift in 2025 when Bastianini departs to join Tech 3 KTM, and Marquez transitions to the main factory team.
