At a closed-door Misano MotoGP test, riders from Monster Yamaha and Repsol Honda were accompanied by competitors on production bikes, with Valentino Rossi also participating.
The Monster Yamaha MotoGP team wrapped up the first of four scheduled trips to Misano in the coming month by conducting a two-day private test at the Italian circuit this week.
Fabio Quartararo and Alex Rins participated in the test alongside Andrea Dovizioso, a former MotoGP title contender who stepped in for the injured factory test rider Cal Crutchlow.
Additionally, Repsol Honda racers Joan Mir and Luca Marini were present on the circuit, thanks to certain allowances. Other MotoGP bikes from Ducati, piloted by Michele Pirro, and KTM, ridden by Dani Pedrosa, were also in action.
According to GPone.com, VR46 Academy MotoGP racers Francesco Bagnaia, Marco Bezzecchi, and Franco Morbidelli were seen with production motorcycles, while newcomer Pedro Acosta was riding a Moto2 bike.
Valentino Rossi participated as well, riding an R1 motorcycle at his hometown circuit.
After Yamaha concluded their test, Rins posted a video on Instagram that features riding scenes captured from within his helmet visor.

Following the Aragon MotoGP next weekend, Quartararo and Rins are set to head back to Misano for the San Marino round, which will take place from September 6 to 8.
An official post-race test is scheduled for Monday, September 9, followed by the second MotoGP event at the track, which will take place from September 20-22, replacing the Kazakhstan round.
