Francesco Bagnaia found himself momentarily pinned beneath Alex Marquez's Ducati following a spill during the Aragon MotoGP race.

Bagnaia and Marquez exchanged heated gestures in the gravel following the incident, but initially, it appeared they had not sustained significant injuries.

Marquez veered off course while trying to maintain his third-place spot, with six laps left in the

Bagnaia, starting from the fourth spot, attempted to pass him.

Bagnaia's Ducati appeared to be closely trailing right behind Marquez's front end.

The two bicycles were entangled as they veered off the path.

For a few moments, Bagnaia found himself trapped under Marquez's Ducati during their slide.

However, he stood up and motioned towards Marquez, indicating that he was fine.

He moved off, his leathers scratched and worn on his arm, yet possibly lucky that the harm wasn’t more severe.

Bagnaia visited the medical facility for an examination.

Within half an hour following the incident, Bagnaia and Marquez were seen strolling through the paddock area, no longer in their racing gear, and appearing to be without injuries.

Stewards are conducting an investigation into the incident.

Current MotoGP titleholder Bagnaia began Sunday three points behind the leader of the championship, Jorge Martin.

Martin's second-place finish at the Aragon MotoGP on Sunday has propelled him to the top of the championship standings, giving him a 23-point lead.

Marc Marquez emerged as the winner of the race.
