Bagnaia and Marquez exchanged heated gestures in the gravel following the incident, but initially, it appeared they had not sustained serious injuries.
Marquez veered off course, holding onto third place with six laps left to go.
Starting from the fourth spot, Bagnaia attempted to pass him.
Bagnaia's Ducati appeared to be glued to the front end of Marquez's bike.
The two bicycles became entangled as they veered off the course.
For a few moments, Bagnaia found himself trapped under Marquez's Ducati during their slide.
However, he stood up and motioned towards Marquez, indicating that he was fine.
He departed, his leathers ripped and marred on his arm, perhaps lucky that the harm wasn't more severe.
Bagnaia visited the healthcare facility for an examination.
Less than half an hour after the mishap, Bagnaia and Marquez were seen strolling through the paddock, no longer in their racing suits, and appeared to be without injuries.
Stewards are currently conducting an investigation into the incident.
