Following the incident, Bagnaia and Marquez were seen exchanging heated gestures in the gravel, though initially, it appeared they hadn't sustained serious injuries.
Marquez drifted off track, while there were six laps left, in an effort to maintain his third-place
Starting from the fourth spot, Bagnaia attempted to pass him.
Bagnaia's Ducati appeared to be closely trailing right in front of Marquez's.
The two bicycles became entangled and veered off the path.
For a few moments, Bagnaia found himself trapped beneath Marquez's Ducati during their slide.
However, he stood up and motioned towards Marquez, indicating that he was fine.
He moved off, his arm's leathers scratched and worn, yet possibly lucky that the harm wasn't more severe.
Bagnaia was taken to the medical center for an examination.
Half an hour after their mishap, Bagnaia and Marquez were seen strolling through the paddock area, no longer in their racing suits, appearing to be uninjured.
Stewards are currently conducting an investigation into the incident.
Defending MotoGP titleholder Bagnaia started off Sunday three points behind the current championship frontrunner, Jorge Martin.
Martin's second-place finish on Sunday at the Aragon MotoGP has propelled him into the championship lead with a 23-point advantage.
Marc Marquez emerged victorious in the race.
