Bagnaia and Marquez were seen making angry gestures towards each other in the gravel following the incident, but it appeared at first that they had not sustained serious injuries.
Marquez veered off course while trying to protect his third-place spot, with only six laps left in
Starting from the fourth spot, Bagnaia made an attempt to pass him.
Bagnaia's Ducati appeared to be glued to Marquez's front end.
The two bicycles became entangled and veered off the path.
For a few moments, Bagnaia found himself trapped under Marquez's Ducati during their slide.
However, he stood up and motioned towards Marquez, indicating that he was fine.
He moved off, his arm's leathers ripped and marred, yet possibly lucky that the harm wasn't more severe.
Bagnaia was taken to the medical facility for an examination.
Less than half an hour after their mishap, Bagnaia and Marquez were seen wandering around the paddock, no longer in their racing suits, and appeared to be without injuries.
Stewards are currently conducting an investigation into the incident.
Defending MotoGP titleholder Bagnaia commenced Sunday with a three-point deficit behind championship frontrunner Jorge Martin.
Securing the second place in Sunday's Aragon MotoGP, Martin has now taken a 23-point lead in the championship standings.
Marc Marquez emerged victorious in the race.
