Despite 2024 Struggles, Ferrari Eager for Hamilton’s Arrival in 2025
Ferrari is eager to welcome Lewis Hamilton despite his fluctuating performance. "They are excited and looking forward to having him on board," a source mentioned.
Ted Kravitz has dismissed any worries that Ferrari may have regarding Lewis Hamilton's inconsistent 2024 Formula 1 season.
Despite Hamilton breaking his lengthy stretch without a victory on home ground at Silverstone earlier this year, it has been a lackluster season for the seven-time world champion.

Mercedes has struggled with inconsistency in 2024, and the United States Grand Prix last weekend proved to be yet another challenging race for the team.
In the initial laps of the race, Hamilton lost control and spun, with Toto Wolff attributing the incident to issues with the car instead of a mistake by the driver.
During the qualifying session, George Russell committed a comparable error, resulting in a crash during Q3. Consequently, he had to begin the race from the pit lane because there were no spare parts available.
Lewis Hamilton is set to join Ferrari in 2025, and considering the team's current competition for the constructors' championship, it seems like a wise decision.
Nonetheless, Kravitz thinks that regardless of Hamilton's individual performance or how well Ferrari is doing on the track, both are eager to begin their collaboration in 2025.
"He mentioned on the Sky F1 podcast that the decision would still feel right to him, regardless of whether Ferrari was winning races or not."
"The performance varies from one race to another. Sometimes, Mercedes excels in a grand prix, while Ferrari struggles. In other instances, Ferrari might not perform well, but Mercedes does."
One might wonder if Lewis is contemplating the situation at Ferrari. Similarly, if you're part of Ferrari, you might observe a race where Lewis is struggling and question what is happening with him.
In the upcoming race, Lewis is performing exceptionally well, and Ferrari will believe they have a victorious contender on their hands.
"All is well. Honestly, I don't believe they're concerned about it. Lewis is eager to start with Ferrari—he mentions it in press conferences whenever we inquire. Ferrari is excited to welcome him. Everything is positive; they're both anticipating it."
There is no clear timeline for when Hamilton will have his initial official experience with Ferrari, as the BBC has indicated that Mercedes will prevent him from participating in the post-race test in Abu Dhabi this coming December.
