Competitors, especially McLaren, raised worries about a mechanism in the Red Bull car that enabled the adjustment of its ride height during parc ferme, a practice that is not permitted.
There is nothing to indicate that Red Bull violated any regulations, and they brushed off their competitors' concerns by calling them "paranoia."
Mercedes team principal Wolff reportedly told Motorsport: "From what I've observed and heard, it's absolutely shocking."
Wolff described the reasons for his doubts.
He mentioned that he believes everyone is creating components that meet F1 standards, adhering to the most stringent specifications allowed by the rules.
Occasionally, when dealing with factors like aeroelasticity, you might aim to push the limits as much as possible. However, there are other aspects and specific components where you might wonder about their necessity.

In Texas, Red Bull showcased to FIA officials, under the scrutiny of television cameras, how their device adhered to regulations.
Wolff ridiculed their attempts, saying, "I find it amusing that they placed an actual broom in the car to show that it's the only method to make that adjustment!"
"I'm curious about how much time they spent creating this and adding it in."
The FIA declared the case concluded, having found no evidence of Red Bull violating any regulations.
However, Wolff speculates whether the debate might be reignited.
He stated, "I believe the FIA's leadership will review this situation and question, 'What action are we taking regarding this matter?'"

During the previous weekend, Max Verstappen of Red Bull increased his advantage in the drivers’ championship, extending his lead to 54 points over Lando Norris.
The incident between Verstappen and Norris sparked controversy when the stewards imposed a five-second penalty on the McLaren driver.
