Starting from the front row, Marc Marquez's aspirations for a win were dashed at Turn 1 after he fell from second position during Saturday's Sprint.

Marquez made a comeback to 13th position, and by the end of the race, he had impressively climbed up to fourth place at the finish line, keeping up with the pace of the front runners towards the end. However, Bastianini, who was further ahead, was out of reach by then.
The FIM Stewards decided that no additional measures were necessary for the incident at Turn 1.

Bastianini achieved significant advancement early on, climbing from seventh to third place, right behind his team member Bagnaia.
As the race progressed, the leading trio started to distance themselves from the rest of the pack. However, after the 10th of 28 laps, Bastianini started to fall behind and found himself isolated
Following his early efforts to recapture the lead being thwarted, Martin closely followed his rival until they reached the mid-point of the race, at which point Bagnaia significantly increased his pace.
Following Bastianini, Brad Binder, known for his quick starts, secured the highest position for KTM by finishing fifth at their home Grand Prix, after being overtaken by Marquez with ten laps remaining.

If a driver does not achieve the required minimum in a Grand Prix, they will face a penalty of 16 seconds added to their race time post-race. For a Sprint or shorter race, the penalty will be reduced to 8 seconds.
