Aprilia presents its new fairing design at the British MotoGP.
Starting this weekend at the British MotoGP, Aprilia will field four RS-GP24 motorcycles, including an upgraded ride for Trackhouse's Raul Fernandez. Additionally, the team is rolling out its single permitted aerodynamic update for the season.
The latest aerodynamic package, accessible to factory riders Maverick Vinales and Aleix Espargaro as well as Trackhouse team members Fernandez and Miguel Oliveira, includes modifications or redesigns to over twenty bodywork components.
The primary objective is to enhance efficiency, which refers to the balance between aerodynamic downforce and the drag caused by aerodynamic components.
Additionally, the bike's ground effect downforce has been enhanced when it is leaning into turns, and it is now less affected by side winds.
Motorcyclists are also optimistic that the updated fairing will enhance airflow for them during extremely hot races in locations like Buriram, Sepang, and Mandalika, following the overheating problems encountered last year.
