Organizers of the F1 United States Grand Prix have received a penalty for an incident where spectators encroached onto the race track.
They've suffered a financial blow amounting to $500,000, with $350,000 of that being held in abeyance.

Fans entered the circuit after the end of Sunday's Formula 1 race in Texas, which saw Ferrari's Charles Leclerc emerge as the victor.
Spectators lined the home stretch even as several vehicles were completing their cool-down circuits.
Around 200 supporters are said to have scaled a fence, descended two meters, and then leaped over a barrier.
Invasions of the track by fans constitute a significant violation of the FIA's safety rules.

The circuit is required to provide the FIA with a strategy aimed at preventing the recurrence of similar incidents in the future.
Last year's Australian Grand Prix also saw an incident where fans stormed the track, leading to a penalty for the event organizers.
Spectators also invaded the racecourse in Brazil the previous year.
