TikTok is set to shut down its music streaming service in November due to intense rivalry. ByteDance's short video service, TikTok Music, will cease operations on November 28, thereby concluding its attempt to compete with industry giants like Spotify, Apple, and Google in the market.
"Following this specified date, the availability of TikTok Music, encompassing sign-ins, subscriptions, and all other features, will be discontinued," stated the firm in an announcement on its official web page.
