Singles’ Day Promotions: Apple’s iPhone 16 Sees Major Price Cuts on Chinese E-commerce Giants Alibaba’s Tmall, JD.com and Pinduoduo

iPhone 16 by Apple is experiencing price reductions on various Chinese online platforms as part of the Singles' Day sales. Alibaba's Tmall, JD.com, and Pinduoduo have implemented additional discounts on the iPhone 16 as part of their individual Singles' Day marketing efforts.

Apple's Tmall store launched a Singles' Day deal, providing a 500-yuan discount for all iPhone 16 models beginning Monday at 8pm, as per a Sunday announcement by Tmall. The starting prices for the standard iPhone 16 and the high-end iPhone 16 Pro Max are 5,499 yuan and 9,499 yuan, correspondingly.

Tmall is also providing an additional trade-in allowance of up to 1,100 yuan, which will allow Chinese customers to get a discount of as much as 1,600 yuan on their iPhone 16 buys. The South China Morning Post is owned by Alibaba.
