The Australian MotoGP Sprint on Saturday resulted in Marco Bezzecchi, Maverick Vinales, and Pedro Acosta being taken for health evaluations following crashes during the competition.
The most terrifying moment occurred during the Turn 1 crash involving Bezzecchi and Vinales, where the VR46 competitor slammed into the rear of the Aprilia as they began the second-to-last lap.

Vinales, having just overtaken Bezzecchi for the fifth position with a slipstream move, exited the site of the 140mph crash on foot, whereas the Italian was transported from the gravel pit on a stretcher.
Aprilia announcement: Following the accident, Maverick Viñales received prompt attention from the medical team on-site. The evaluation by the medical personnel and Aprilia racing's Lifenet Healthcare physician indicated numerous bruises but no broken bones.
"The driver is alert and shows no signs of neurological impairment; a decision on whether to perform an ultrasound on the upper arm will be made based on the circumstances."
Later on Saturday, Aprilia issued another statement regarding Vinales' status, stating: "Following the crash, Vinales was taken to the medical facility for assessment due to a bruise on his left elbow.
No broken bones were found, however, a follow-up ultrasound revealed slight swelling caused by the injury. Consequently, the rider from Spain will be treated with anti-inflammatory medication.
The VR46 team has announced that Marco Bezzecchi appears to have avoided any broken bones but will be traveling to a hospital for additional scans: "Following an initial medical assessment at the Circuit Medical Centre, Marco Bezzecchi will be proceeding to Melbourne for more detailed evaluations. There have been no fractures identified."
Bezzecchi's unavailability could postpone a decision from the FIM Stewards regarding potential sanctions for the crash, which was swiftly subjected to a formal inquiry.
UPDATE: The decision regarding the Bezzecchi/Vinales crash has been delayed until Sunday by the FIM Stewards, citing Bezzecchi's ongoing health issues as the reason.
Shortly before the event, newcomer Acosta experienced a significant highside crash at Turn 6, while positioned in 11th place.
Tech3 statement: "The Spaniard experienced a rather harsh high-side fall, but fortunately, medical evaluations revealed no fractures, although he is feeling some shoulder discomfort. He is scheduled for a further examination tomorrow morning ahead of the race."
