Former Tory leader Ruth Davidson has expressed her belief that it is likely there will be another Conservative leadership contest within two years, even though one is presently taking place.
On the Electoral Dysfunction podcast with Beth Rigby, Baroness Davidson remarked that the latest Conservative Party conference demonstrated that both finalists, Kemi Badenoch and Robert Jenrick, are capable of making errors.
The previous head of the Scottish Conservatives disclosed that she cast her vote for James Cleverly, the ex-home secretary and foreign secretary, who was eliminated from the competition on Wednesday following allegations of vote lending.
