His uplifting personal announcement comes as a refreshing break from what has been a challenging first year as a factory rider.
Marini's transition from the familiar territory of VR46 to joining the Repsol Honda team has resulted in disappointing performances.
He managed to secure his initial point after participating in nine rounds this year.
However, his outcomes with the Honda show some promising signs.
Securing a 12th place finish at the second Misano event and a 14th place in Japan represents a notable improvement for Marini, especially considering his performance earlier this season after taking over for Marc Marquez.
However, Honda's initiative is designed with the future in mind, and the Japanese company has strengthened its team in preparation for the upcoming year.
Aleix Espargaro has been appointed as a test rider, while Romano Albesiano will depart from Aprilia to head up Honda's technical division.
However, back in Italy, Marini has many reasons to be happy following Angelina's arrival.
