Ducati Anticipates High Team Level with Marc Marquez’s Arrival in 2025 MotoGP Season
Ducati's Anticipations for Marc Marquez's Contribution to the MotoGP Team in 2025
How does Ducati foresee Marquez's impact in the coming year?
Ducati's team leader, Davide Tardozzi, is confident that Marc Marquez will significantly elevate the team's performance once he becomes part of the factory MotoGP team in 2025.
Marquez's move to the official Ducati team next year was the most shocking news in the 2025 rider market, especially since the eight-time world champion turned down a factory bike at Pramac.
Confronted with the possibility of Marquez joining a competing brand, especially since he received a proposal from KTM, Ducati reversed its initial choice to elevate Jorge Martin.
Consequently, the runner-up of the 2023 championship and the person currently leading in points had to ink a deal with Aprilia, whereas Pramac will team up with Yamaha starting in 2025.
Securing his third victory of the season on the Gresini-operated GP23, Marquez has solidified his status as a contender for the 2025 season as a factory rider.

Tardozzi is of the opinion that Marquez's involvement will enhance the performance of Ducati's main team and also stimulate an increased level of competitiveness from the current world champion, Francesco Bagnaia.
"Tardozzi shared with the MotoGP world feed last month his belief that Marc is going to significantly elevate the team's performance."
"Having a sense of friendly rivalry within the team is beneficial as it encourages the riders to work together during practice sessions. However, once they hit the racetrack, it's each rider's chance to demonstrate who is the superior competitor or who has the edge to clinch the victory."
"We won't hinder anyone based on their performance, just as we aren't currently doing.
"Regardless, I believe Marc will maintain the team's high standards and also assist Pecco in sustaining his competitive edge."
Ducati is assured of clinching the riders' championship this season, as four of its contenders remain in the running, based on the numbers.
Yet, given Marquez trails by 81 points and Enea Bastianini lags by 79 points from Martin, the championship now narrows down to a duel between Bagnaia and Martin.
Heading into the upcoming Australian Grand Prix, a mere 10 points separate Bagnaia from Martin. Additionally, it was confirmed on Thursday that Ducati has halted development on its GP24 model to maintain fair competition.
