Daniel Ricciardo's parting words to fellow Australian Oscar Piastri unveiled
In his last weekend as an F1 driver at the Singapore Grand Prix, Daniel Ricciardo shared a heartfelt farewell message with his fellow Australian Oscar Piastri.
Ricciardo took his leave from Formula 1 after the racing events at the Marina Bay Street Circuit concluded.
Although an official announcement had not yet been made, everything indicated that this was going to be Ricciardo's last appearance – a fact of which he was well aware.
Following the race in Singapore, Ricciardo engaged in several extended interviews, including a notably emotional one with F1TV.
During his conversation with Sky, he looked back on his professional journey, candidly discussing his close bond with Max Verstappen.
Not long after the race in Singapore, Red Bull announced that Liam Lawson would take over the seat for the upcoming United States Grand Prix.
On Thursday, Ricciardo shared a series of farewell pictures from his ultimate Formula 1 racing weekend on Instagram.

Included was an image of him exchanging helmets with Piastri.
For the 2023 season, Piastri took over Ricciardo's position at McLaren.
Given McLaren's recent improvement, Piastri has emerged as Australia's leading F1 driver.
On the helmet presented to Piastri, Ricciardo inscribed: "Oscar, continue soaring, pal, keep up your great work. Here's to numerous more victories :)"
Ex-Red Bull racer David Coulthard remarked: "Pay no attention to me…merely slicing onions…"
