Vivo Charges into Premium Smartphone Market with X200 Series: A Bold Bid to Outshine Apple and Huawei

Vivo has unveiled its high-end X200 smartphone series, just weeks following the introduction of new models by Apple and Huawei. This move represents Vivo's most recent attempt to gain a foothold in the globally profitable premium smartphone market.

The X200 series, Vivo's latest attempt to penetrate the profitable high-end sector in the global smartphone market, especially in the world's biggest smartphone market, is priced between 4,299 yuan (US$608) and 6,799 yuan. Vivo announced that it would begin the distribution of the X200 series starting from October 19.

Edge AI is the use of AI systems directly on devices, allowing for immediate data handling and examination, without the need for cloud computing services.

The sophisticated new processor in the X200 exemplifies Vivo's ambition to lead in incorporating the newest technology in its smartphones, surpassing other Android phone rivals.
