Steiner Brands Lance Stroll as ‘Non-Existent’ in F1 Despite Aston Martin’s High Aspirations
Unusual Commentary on Lance Stroll – "Invisible on the track, it's as if he never competed!"
"It's like he never experienced youth, nor will he ever age! He's simply always present!"
Guenther Steiner has described Lance Stroll as "invisible."
The driver for Aston Martin is currently in 10th position in the Formula 1 drivers' standings, just one spot lower than his team colleague, Fernando Alonso.
However, he continues to be a focal point for criticism.
Lance Stroll's place in the racing world is secure, thanks to his father, Lawrence Stroll, a billionaire who owns the Aston Martin F1 team, ensuring his position on the team is always guaranteed.
In the most recent Singapore Grand Prix, Stroll crossed the finish line in 14th place, whereas Alonso secured the eighth position.
"Steiner expressed his amazement on the Red Flags podcast, stating, 'Lance just goes totally unnoticed.'"
"It's peculiar, you never say anything positive or negative about him. It's as if he doesn't exist."
"I wouldn't say he's a poor race car driver."
"Everyone is aware that he isn't required to pilot a racing vehicle. He's fine, you understand?"
"Perhaps if this vehicle prevents him from reaching the podium, his attitude might be 'sure, I'll just make do, it doesn't matter, I'll hold off until next year to find out if there's an improvement with the car'."
"I'm not sure. I'm unfamiliar with him; we've never had a conversation."
"He's the type of person who seldom gets mentioned when he's scoring, and even less so when he's not. He's simply… present."
"I was completely unaware of his participation in the race [in Singapore].
"I need to review the statistics. He's simply not visible.
"He never experienced youth, nor will he ever age! He exists beyond! He transcends the norms."
Stroll is competing in his eighth season of Formula 1 racing.
The Aston Martin F1 team is emerging as a highly sought-after destination.
His dad has funded the hiring of two-time champion Alonso, along with a new facility at Silverstone that includes a wind tunnel.
Starting in 2026, Aston Martin is set to collaborate with Honda on an engine partnership.
Significantly, they emerged victorious in securing Adrian Newey, the automotive design mastermind, who is parting ways with Red Bull.
Therefore, Stroll is set to pilot a vehicle designed by Newey in the upcoming seasons.
