Sky News has learned that Sir Keir Starmer encountered Taylor Swift during his visit to her show at Wembley Stadium.
It has come to light that the prime minister and his relatives engaged in a 10-minute conversation with the pop singer and her mother, focusing on the stabbings in Southport.
The disclosure emerges as there are inquiries concerning the government's involvement in discussions about security arrangements for the concerts, following the news that Swift received a police escort funded by taxpayers, despite concerns from the Metropolitan Police.

Previously, it was uncertain whether Sir Keir and Swift had encountered each other at the concert.
It is understood that Downing Street has stated that the decision to provide security for the artist is a matter independently handled by the police, involving no discussion.
Sir Keir and his relatives received complimentary tickets to the August 20 concert, appropriately declared and subsequently reimbursed.
The gathering occurred following the celebrity's decision to call off shows in Austria on her Eras Tour because of a terrorism alert, as well as the tragic incident in Southport where a mass stabbing at a dance class themed around Taylor Swift resulted in the death of three young girls.
Sir Keir received an invitation from Universal Music to attend their August event, a company located within his Holborn and St Pancras constituency.
He reimbursed the price of the tickets following a dispute about ministers receiving complimentary items, which captured media attention during his initial 100 days in office.

Additional inquiries emerged following a publication in The Sun, which claimed that Home Secretary Yvette Cooper and London Mayor Sadiq Khan had contacted the Metropolitan Police, urging them to provide an extremely high-level escort for the celebrity when she came back to London to finish the European portion of her highly successful tour in August.
According to the newspaper, the Metropolitan Police were hesitant to authorize the use of a blue-light escort, which is usually allotted only to high-ranking royals and top officials, due to the significant cost it incurs for taxpayers.
Swift's mom and manager, Andrea, reportedly warned that she would cancel her daughter's three performances unless they were given a police escort.
The administration has refuted claims that top Labour officials received show tickets in return for ensuring police security, emphasizing that the Metropolitan Police operates autonomously from political figures.

Last week, Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner attributed the cancellation of Taylor Swift's concerts in Vienna to a thwarted terrorist plot that aimed to claim the lives of tens of thousands of her fans.
"She emphasized that ensuring the individual's safety was a priority and clarified that it was a matter for law enforcement, not politicians. She pointed out that it was ultimately a decision for the police to make."
She also mentioned that police security was crucial in allowing Swift to proceed with her concerts, which significantly boosted the local economy by injecting substantial funds, benefiting small businesses that rely on such influxes.
Culture Secretary Lisa Nandy stated on Sky News that it is anticipated that both the home secretary and the mayor would participate in discussions when there's a security threat, like the situation following the Vienna bomb plot.
"She firmly denied any allegations of misconduct or improper influence in this matter," she stated.
