The prime minister stated that the global community will no longer accept any justifications from Israel regarding humanitarian aid in Gaza.
After a discussion with US President Joe Biden, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, and French President Emmanuel Macron, Sir Keir Starmer aimed to use the passing of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar as a pivotal moment in the ongoing Middle East conflict.
During a press briefing, Sir Keir stated that Sinwar should not be grieved for, as he is responsible for the deaths of both innocent Israelis and Palestinians.

The premier stated: "Currently, a ceasefire in Gaza is essential, along with the prompt and unconditional release of all captives, immediate provision of humanitarian aid, and a resumption of progress towards a two-state resolution."
"Establishing lasting peace and security is the only viable option; the current humanitarian crisis is unsustainable."
"I reiterate to Israel that the global community will no longer accept any further justifications regarding humanitarian aid. There is an urgent need for food for the civilians in northern Gaza."
This reflects remarks Sir Keir delivered at the UN late last month.
The Israeli armed forces confirmed that on Friday, they permitted the entry of 30 trucks carrying humanitarian supplies into the northern part of Gaza.
When questioned about the possibility of extending the halt on arms sales to Israel, Sir Keir stated that his stance remains the same as it was following the previous decision, emphasizing that the UK continues to uphold Israel's right to self-defense, especially given the actions of the Iranian regime.

During the meeting of the Western leaders' group known as "the quad," the situation in Ukraine was addressed, the prime minister stated.

Sir Keir stated that the conflict consumes "40%" of Moscow’s budget, and that last month the nation experienced its "highest daily casualty rate to date."
