End of an Era: Daniel Ricciardo Faces Career Crossroads Beyond Formula 1
Daniel Ricciardo receives a promising hint for his professional future
"At 35, he has the option to pursue different paths."
Daniel Ricciardo has been assured that new chances will emerge even though he finds himself excluded from the Formula 1 lineup.
Ricciardo will no longer be behind the wheel for Red Bull Racing, with Liam Lawson taking over his seat for the rest of the Formula 1 season.
Without a deal for the 2025 season, the career of the seasoned Australian Formula 1 driver appears to be over.
"According to former Haas leader Guenther Steiner, speaking on the Red Flags podcast, he’s not living up to his potential."
In Singapore, he didn't make it past the first qualifying round, whereas Yuki Tsunoda advanced to the third qualifying session driving the same vehicle.
"Leaving likely wouldn't cause him any personal harm."
"At 35 years old, he has the capability to pursue various opportunities, including those within the realm of motor racing. He's a pretty cool guy."
"He has accomplished a great deal and should take pride in that. There's no need to feel defeated. It's time to progress with your life, Danny."
"He earned a substantial income. Head to the farm in Western Australia. Spend some time there in retirement. He's free from concerns."
"Something is on the horizon. When one door shuts…"
Ricciardo has not revealed his future plans following the loss of his F1 racing position.
It is said that there will be a chance to stay part of the Red Bull racing team lineup.
It remains uncertain if Ricciardo will be drawn to different racing leagues.
Steiner has highlighted that his recent challenges with McLaren and Red Bull followed a successful phase that solidified Ricciardo's status as a leading driver.
"Steiner mentioned that he was an excellent race car driver who achieved victories in competitions."
"He was in competition with Max and chose to advance. This strategy succeeded for a time."
Steiner commented on Ricciardo's pairing with Lando Norris at McLaren, noting: "With a teammate outperforming him…
"Similar to the situation with Nico Hulkenberg during his tenure at Renault alongside Danny, he was on the verge of ending his career. It was Danny who nearly brought Hulkenberg's career to a close."
"Now, observe Hulkenberg as he effortlessly outmaneuvers Danny."
"This activity is incredibly intense. The stress that overwhelmed Danny came from the fact that all eyes were on him."
"Perhaps he wasn't ready for it."
