During his speech on National Day, the Chinese leader described Taiwan as the nation's 'sacred territory.'

During an official event in Beijing commemorating the 75th anniversary of the People's Republic's establishment, Xi stated that Taiwan is "sacred Chinese territory" and emphasized that the people across the Taiwan Strait share a bond of blood.

“He emphasized the need to foster spiritual unity among citizens across the strait and firmly stand against any acts of separatism advocating for 'Taiwan independence,'" he stated.
