Valentino Rossi Revives Racing Spirit: GoPro Footage from a Thrilling Day of Flat Tracking with VR46 Academy Riders

Join Valentino Rossi for an afternoon of flat track racing alongside his VR46 Academy riders.
Despite being nearly three years into his retirement from professional motorcycle racing, Valentino Rossi is still enjoying riding a YZ450F at his Motor Ranch.
A recently shared video by Rossi on his social media shows him, along with current MotoGP World Champion Francesco Bagnaia, engaging in an afternoon of flat track training. The session also includes VR46 Ducati rider Marco Bezzecchi.

Even though Rossi hasn't been competing in MotoGP lately, he still shows exceptional skill on the dirt track, challenging both Bezzecchi and Bagnaia during several laps at the Motor Ranch.
The specific timing of the video is uncertain, but given the incidents at the Aragon Grand Prix last weekend, supporters of Alex Marquez may feel reassured seeing Bagnaia deciding not to attempt an outside pass on Bezzecchi at one of the circuit's two sharp hairpin turns.
As Bagnaia and Marquez collided in Aragon, Rossi was advancing in Texas during the Lone Star Le Mans, specifically at the 6 Hours of COTA held at the Circuit of the Americas.
The #46 BMW started the race in 15th position but managed to climb to fourth place and was closing in on third with about 15 minutes remaining in the sixth round of this year's World Endurance Championship. Unfortunately, a mechanical failure forced Rossi, Ahmad Al Harthy, and Maxime Martin to withdraw from the race, just as they were nearing the finish line of the six-hour event.
Prior to his retirement and despite the nearly four-degree Celsius temperatures in Austin last weekend, Rossi appeared to be having a good time at the WEC race. However, we believe he likely enjoys flat track racing with Bezzecchi and Bagnaia even more.
