**Title:** “Pramac Yamaha Delays 2025 Rider Announcement Amid Major Transition and Championship Battle
Pramac Yamaha clarifies reasons behind the postponed announcement of their 2025 rider roster
Head of Pramac discusses team composition, transition to Yamaha, and significant future ambitions
Pramac Yamaha has announced that they will reveal their roster of riders for the 2025 MotoGP season before the end of this month.
It is anticipated by many that Miguel Oliveira and Jack Miller will be announced as their new pair.
It appears that this weekend's event at Misano will not bring any official announcements.
Pramac team leader Gino Borsoi mentioned to TNT Sports, "As is widely known, we have already chosen our riders."
“We will reveal our plans either during the first Misano event this weekend or at the second Misano event on September 20.”
Borsoi was questioned about the delay in revealing their new riders.
He emphasized that it was merely a few details, and nothing more.
The team appears to have chosen seasoned riders instead of the promising young talents from Moto2.
Trackhouse is bringing on Oliveira, and KTM is adding Miller; both are champions in grand prix racing.
Signing with Pramac Yamaha in 2025 will be a career-saving move for Miller in MotoGP. After losing his spot with KTM and being passed over by other teams, he was ready to leave the series until Pramac offered him a lifeline.
The Pramac team is making a significant transition by moving from Ducati equipment to Yamaha.
Forming a satellite team with Yamaha will allow the Japanese company to once again have four motorcycles competing on the track.
It is considered an essential move for them to regain their former greatness.
Borsoi is thrilled: "Absolutely. Yamaha is an amazing manufacturer.
"It's evident from history that they’ve secured numerous championships. They possess significant strength and a revamped organization."
"We have confidence in them. The progress over the last two years has been remarkable."
"We're all focused on this season, but we're also thinking ahead with Yamaha."
Surprisingly, Pramac is at the top of the MotoGP standings right now.
Jorge Martin holds a 23-point advantage over Pecco Bagnaia at the top of the rankings as they approach the Misano event this weekend.
This implies that Pramac might conclude their partnership with Ducati by outperforming the factory team's leading rider to win the championship.
"We need to consider competing for the championship alongside Jorge, as well as focusing on Yamaha," stated Borsoi.
"We're also considering a team in Moto2, which makes our task quite challenging."
While he couldn't disclose additional information about Pramac Yamaha's Moto2 team strategy, he mentioned, "There are several riders we are considering."
