Risi Competizione turns blue for Le Mans

Houston-based Risi Competizione has unveiled the livery for its No.89 Ferrari 488 GTE-Professional entry on the 2019 24 Hours of Le Mans.

The automotive will likely be pushed at Le Mans by IMSA full season DPi drivers Pipo Derani and Oliver Jarvis, and present Bentley Manufacturing unit GT driver Jules Gounon.

Inter Europol, Excessive Class Racing groups finalize Le Mans crews

The three-time Le Mans class-winning crew will collaborate for this 12 months’s race with Jean Guikas and the French Ferrari Homeowners Membership, with the automotive’s livery reflecting a French blue background (France) and navy blue and white stripe (USA).

The livery was developed as a part of a contest that introduced collectively 21 pairs of scholars from totally different sectors of ENSAAMA (Faculty of Artwork and Design), an ornamental arts college in Paris, France.

It incorporates pictures of a thoroughbred horse and pays tribute to the NART North American Racing crew, based by Luigi Chinetti, and to the founders of the French Ferrari Homeowners Membership, initiators of the final Franco-American victory in 1981 (IMSA class). 

NART is celebrating the 70th anniversary of its first Le Mans victory this 12 months.

The ultimate technical livery artwork was created by Andy Blackmore.
