The sport utility vehicle is expected to hit the market initially, carrying a price tag around $40,000. Following closely behind will be the more sizable truck, which is anticipated to be slightly more expensive than the SUV.
The head of Scout Motors, Scott Keogh, who once led Volkswagen America, has praised the SUV, branding it a "Rugged Utility Vehicle," or RUV.
