RDN receives funding for brand spanking new EV chargers | Automotive Trade Information


Vancouver Island’s Regional District of Nanaimo (RDN) has been awarded a grant for C$162,000 (US$124,000) from the Provincial CleanBC Communities Fund to put in ten new public EV charging stations.

The transfer is an element of a bigger funding in EV chargers throughout mid-Vancouver Island.

The brand new Stage 2 charging stations shall be put in throughout the RDN by the top of 2022 to assist fill present gaps within the mid-island space’s charging community and to increase zero emission transportation choices for RDN residents, companies and guests.
