"Things are expected to improve by year's end."
Quartararo Highlights Yamaha's Neglect of Its Strengths
Quartararo outlined several challenges he encounters with his M1.
Significantly, he acknowledged that Yamaha has conceded their major edge in maneuverability as they focused on enhancing other aspects.
"He started by saying, 'When we brake, there's a lack of grip at the back.'"
"We lack the ability to halt effectively, we're deficient in maneuverability, and we're also lacking traction when speeding up."
"Numerous factors contribute, but notably, it's the maneuverability. Historically, Yamaha's standout feature has been its agility."
"We completely overlooked this significant aspect and must revisit it."
"We made a minor enhancement in power yet sacrificed everything else. It's crucial to figure out the reason behind this.
"We'll catch up to them and remain in contention."
Quartararo has not managed to place above seventh position in any of the five Grand Prix races this season.
He suffered a crash during his home event, the French MotoGP, last weekend while he was among the top six contenders. Despite this, it was seen as a positive sign given his competitive performance.
Quartararo discussed how his mindset has had to adapt due to the limitations of his motorcycle, stating, "It's challenging because, being an athlete and accustomed to winning, you have a different mental approach. We're aware that we're facing significant difficulties with our motorcycle."
"We're maai-allcreator.com">king progress. However, it's challenging since we can't just show up at a circuit and declare that we're aiming for victory or a podium finish."

Maintaining composure and avoiding fixation on the outcome is crucial.
Yamaha has a deep comprehension of the transformations MotoGP has undergone in recent years.
"For three years, we found ourselves at a standstill. It's clear to them now that our approach needs a complete overhaul."
"Observing since the end of December, I've noticed a complete transformation in Yamaha."
"Yet, when you've been riding essentially the same motorcycle for three years? And you attempt to overhaul everything?
Naturally, we had lost our direction. At the moment, we are making efforts to navigate our path.
"The fresh crop of engineers brings a novel mindset and an entirely distinct approach to their work."
"Our arrival is certain, though it won't be as soon as a week or even within three months. A considerable amount of time is necessary."
"I have a lot of faith in the Yamaha initiative.
"This explains my decision to renew my contract with Yamaha."
