Volkswagen has recently given the Golf a facelift, paying special attention to the GTI model. This revamp has equipped the sports compact with a new infotainment system, updated software, a fresh design, and a new engine. With the commencement of pre-sales for the revamped version, the starting price has been announced and orders are being taken immediately, with prices beginning from €44,505.

The latest GTI model comes with an increased power output of 195 kW (265 horsepower), maai-allcreator.com">king it 20 horsepower stronger than its predecessor. This enhanced performance is delivered by the 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, which reaches its peak output between 5,250 and 6,500 rpm. Additionally, the engine produces 370 Nm of torque starting from just 1,600 rpm. Power transmission is handled by the familiar 7-speed DSG; the option for a 6-speed manual transmission has been discontinued. The vehicle continues to feature front-wheel drive, maintaining a longstanding characteristic of this VW model.

The latest GTI model achieves the standard acceleration to 100 km/h in just 5.9 seconds, breaking the six-second mark for the first time. Its maximum speed is electronically capped at 250 km/h.

The updated Golf GTI can be visually identified by its redesigned front end, which features new LED headlights and a lit-up Volkswagen emblem, along with fresh LED tail lights and the new "Queenstown" 18-inch alloy wheels. However, the standard wheels are just 17 inches in size. Additionally, the vehicle is distinguished by the GTI emblem on the rear hatch and its dual exhaust system, which has a chrome-finished pipe on both the left and right sides of the car.

Inside, the vehicle boasts a freshly designed entertainment system accessible via a visually detached touchscreen or through IDA, the latest voice assistant that incorporates "ChatGPT" features. Additionally, the interior is enhanced with sport seats that come with built-in headrests and the signature GTI checkered pattern. The sporty essence is further highlighted by red decorative stitching found in the seats, central armrest, floor mats, and the leather sports steering wheel with multiple functions.
