Downing Street expressed condolences for the three young lives lost in Friday's Southport tragedy, while the Prime Minister traveled to the town to unveil a package of support.
Number 10 was illuminated in pink "to show respect and solidarity" in memory of the girls who lost their lives in Southport on Monday.
Three young kids, six-year-old Bebe King, seven-year-old Elsie Dot Stancombe, and nine-year-old Alice Dasilva Aguiar, lost their lives in a stabbing incident during a Taylor Swift-inspired yoga and dance class at The Hart Space on Monday morning. Additionally, eight other children and two adults sustained injuries.
Axel Rudakubana, a 17-year-old, has been taken into custody and faces charges of murder and attempted murder.
On Friday morning, Sir Keir Starmer had a meeting with Liverpool's Mayor Steve Rotheram and Merseyside Police Chief Constable Serena Kennedy, along with leaders from the local faith, health, and education sectors in the town.
He subsequently visited Alder Hey Children's Hospital in Liverpool, where several of the young victims from Monday's incident received medical care.

Downing Street has unveiled a package of support for victims and their families, which it claims will also bolster long-term initiatives to unify the community.
The prime minister stated, "It's hard for me to fully grasp the suffering that individuals are experiencing at this moment, but I am committed to ensuring that Southport and its officials receive the necessary support to maintain and foster this strong community spirit, not only right now but also in the future."
Sir Keir mentioned that the organized support "might encompass providing essential mental health and psychological assistance, along with a series of community involvement initiatives aimed at determining the most effective recovery and reconstruction strategies."
