Lucas Brown Crowned British Talent Cup Champion, Set for 2025 Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup
A British Talent Cup racer has been announced as a participant in the 2025 Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup. Dorna has officially named the rider chosen to advance to the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup.
Next season, Lucas Brown will transition from competing in the British Talent Cup to participating in the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup.
Brown clinched the British Talent Cup title at Donington Park last weekend.
Dorna has officially chosen him to advance to a higher level.
Brown secured the championship at Donington while representing the SENCAT Talent Team and Mortimer Racing.
He managed to outperform his competitors, Amanuel Brinton and Ryan Frost, in the last three races of the event.
Frost was eliminated in the opening lap of the first race, giving Brown a clear path to win.
Brown narrowly defeated Filip Surowiak, finishing just 0.527 seconds ahead.
Starting from the front of the grid in Race 2, Brown was aware that finishing in the top four would guarantee him the championship title
However, he had a spectacular fall, whereas Frost secured a spot on the podium.
Brown had to place within the top 14 in Race 3 to secure the championship title. However, he was beginning the race from the 20th position.
Frost emerged victorious in Race 3, but Brown's seventh-place finish was enough for him to clinch the 2024 British Talent Cup championship.
