Boasting a wheelbase of 4,470 mm, triple axles, and a total length of 6.68 meters, the Bedrock XT2 seems tailor-made for the classic American truck aficionado. The addition of a third axle has reduced the ground pressure of the Ford F-550 AT44 XT2 by 25%. Its robust 6×4 drive train, coupled with the massive 365/80R20 Continental all-purpose tires, promises to deliver relentless traction in a variety of off-road situations.
Additionally, the rear 8-link air suspension can be independently managed from the cabin, while OEM disc brakes ensure the behemoth is brought to a controlled stop.
The suspension travel has been reduced, and both front and rear locking differentials are included. A semi-automatic tire pressure system along with an optional central tire pressure system allow for tire pressure adjustments to be made from within the cab.
A support frame is designed to detach the module body from the vehicle's frame in situations where off-road driving might cause torsion and heavy strains on the chassis frame. The cabin is constructed from sandwich panels intended to reduce energy consumption through their insulating properties.
Inside, the space boasts a practical beauty, enhanced with a king-sized bed, a 32-inch smart TV in the dining area, and a 24-inch smart TV in the sleeping nook. After all, who would want to miss an episode of their favorite show while out in the New Mexico desert? Additionally, the setup is prepared for integration with Starlink.
Also included on board: A kitchen equipped with premium appliances, an additional outdoor kitchen, a bathroom with a separate toilet and a full shower.
The water tank, featuring three preliminary filtration stages, has a capacity of approximately 447 liters. By contrast, a similarly sized VW Grand California 600 holds a mere 110 liters, which is certainly enough for four to five economical showers.
Budget-friendly Camping

Moreover, the "Truma Combi" unit ensures the interior space is comfortably heated and provides hot water.
