Hong Kong-based fashion tech start-up generates capital, targets expansion in mainland and South Korea
Hong Kong's own start-up, Code-Create, has set a goal to secure a minimum of US$2 million by the conclusion of 2025 to finance its impending expansion objectives.
Code-Create, a software developer for fashion design based in Hong Kong, is partnering with a domestic venture capital firm to secure funding for its growth strategy, initially focusing on significant markets in mainland China and South Korea.
The new business venture plans to secure a minimum of $2 million by the close of 2025, aided by their strategic financial ally, Eschange Capital. The acquired resources will be allocated towards marketing, team expansion, and software improvements to accomplish their objectives.
"China's market holds immense possibilities," said Kim Wong, the co-founder and CEO, during a press conference on Monday. He also mentioned that Code-Create is already established on numerous mainland social networks and within its customer base. "Our goal is to expand our reach to the international market."
The AiDA software, short for Artificial Intelligence-based Interactive Design Assistant for Fashion, employs various AI techniques to support designers throughout the brainstorming and design phases. It expedites the journey from the initial creative idea to the final product launch.
