Hong Kong Fashion Tech Startup, Code-Create, Targets Expansion in Mainland China and South Korea; Seeks to Raise $2M by 2025
The fashion tech startup from Hong Kong secures funding, focusing on expansion in mainland China and South Korea
The Hong Kong-based startup, Code-Create, has set a goal to gather at least 2 million US dollars by the close of 2025 to finance its imminent expansion plans.
Code-Create, a software company from Hong Kong that specializes in fashion design, is collaborating with a local venture capital fund to gather funds for its growth strategy. Initially, it aims to penetrate major markets in mainland China and South Korea.
The start-up has set a goal to secure a minimum of US$2 million by the close of 2025, with Eschange Capital, their strategic investment ally, aiding in this endeavor. The raised capital will be allocated towards marketing efforts, team expansion, and software development to fulfill their objectives.
"China, with its vast market potential, offers great opportunities," stated Kim Wong, co-founder and CEO, during a press conference on Monday. He further mentioned that Code-Create is already visible on several social platforms in mainland China and has a wide range of clients. "Our aim is to expand to the international market."
The AiDA software, also known as the Artificial Intelligence-based Interactive Design Assistant for Fashion, uses a variety of AI technologies to accommodate the requirements of designers during the ideation and design stages. This speeds up the product development process, from the initial creative idea to the product's market launch.
