Hong Kong's fashion technology startup gathers capital, targets expansion in mainland and South Korea
The domestic startup, Code-Create, has set a goal to amass a minimum of US$2 million by the close of 2025 to finance its near-term expansion objectives.
Code-Create, a software company from Hong Kong specializing in fashion design, is collaborating with a domestic venture capital firm to gather funds for its growth strategy. Initially, they are focusing on significant markets in mainland China and South Korea.
The new business intends to gather a minimum of $2 million by the culmination of 2025, with the assistance of Eschange Capital, their key investment ally. The capital will be allocated towards promoting the venture, expanding the team, and improving their software to realize their objectives.
"China holds enormous market potential," stated co-founder and CEO Kim Wong during a press conference on Monday. He further mentioned that Code-Create already has a footprint on several mainland social networks and within its customer base. "Our aim is to expand to the international market."
The AiDA software, an AI-powered Interactive Design Assistant for Fashion, uses various AI tools to support designers throughout the idea creation and design stages. It hastens the journey from imaginative concept to product release.
