Govt to organise outreach programme for Textile MSMEs on February 13
Prime Minister Narendra Modi had launched the 100 days programme for help and outreach to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) on November 2, final 12 months, figuring out 100 districts in varied sectors throughout the nation.
Below the help and outreach 100 days programme, varied actions have been undertaken in recognized districts for creating synergy for MSMEs in textile sector like holding camps for Mudra mortgage in collaboration with native financial institution, enrolment of beneficiaries on ‘e-dhaga’, distribution of device kits to beneficiaries, registration and distribution of Pehchancard to artisans and weavers, high quality certification and social safety.
Amongst these, 39 districts have been recognized for textiles sector – 12 for handloom, 19 for handicraft and eight for powerloom.
“The MSME centered outreach programme will make stronger the person made fiber (MMF) textile manufacturing items in textile hubs like Gujarat, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and Uttar Pradesh,” an official assertion mentioned.
It mentioned the initiatives taken beneath the MSME outreach programme will present a much-needed fillip and encouragement to the MSME sector which contributes considerably to the textiles exports.
