Germany Secures MotoGP Future: Venue Decision Pending
Germany has guaranteed its inclusion in the MotoGP schedule for a minimum of five more years, though the specific track has not been decided yet.
The Sachsenring is the current location for the event; however, Dorna's CEO, Carmelo Ezpeleta, mentioned, "In the upcoming weeks, we, along with the ADAC, will release a joint statement about the venue for the German MotoGP round."
Hermann Tomczyk, the President of ADAC Sports, stated: "The Motorcycle Grand Prix is among the most popular sporting events in Germany. We are thrilled to have ensured the continuation of the German leg of the World Championship for the next five years. Top motorcycle racers from around the globe will be competing on German circuits through at least 2021."
"I want to express my gratitude to Dorna for their outstanding partnership and to everyone on our team for their dedication in ensuring the German Motorcycle Grand Prix continues. We are nearing the final stages of our discussions with the Sachsenring to host the event for the next five years. We aim to receive approval from our partners in Saxony by mid-August at the latest."
