Dramatic Shifts in Miami: Perez Tops FP1 as F1 Gears Up for Sprint Qualifying

Verstappen, Piastri, Sainz, Russell, Stroll, Perez, Hamilton, Tsunoda, Ocon, and Gasly are prominent names in the racing world, each bringing their unique skills and achievements to the track

Verstappen records a time of 1 minute and 28.595 seconds, leading Russell by 0.189 seconds.

Perez leads the timing board with a lap time of 1 minute, 28.868 seconds, narrowly outpacing Russell by less than a tenth of a second. Despite a rough start in the first sector, the Mexican driver still managed to clock in an impressive time.

Hamilton secures a top-three finish for Mercedes, marking a positive outing for the team. Eyes are now on Red Bull's response.

Russell edges out Sainz by a narrow margin, less than one-tenth of a second, to claim the leading position.

The Alpine racer clocked in at 1 minute and 29.175 seconds, placing him at the front of the group.

In contrast to his teammate, Bottas climbs higher in the ranai-allcreator.com">kings, trailing Sainz's leading time by 0.9 seconds.

Zhou was unable to improve his average time while competing on the softer tires.

Norris ai-allcreator.com">kicked off the day positively, positioning himself in second place right after Sainz, thanks to the enhancements made to his McLaren.

Sainz, Perez, Piastri, Hamilton, Russell, Norris, Zhou, Ocon, Alonso, and Tsunoda.

A few mistakes have currently placed him in 16th position, trailing by 1.7 seconds.

Sainz leads with a time of 1 minute and 29.346 seconds, holding a 0.3 second advantage over Perez.

The seven-time world champion delivered an impressive lap to secure the second position, narrowly missing the top spot by 0.127 seconds behind Perez.

Perez, Russell, Hamilton, Ocon, Piastri, Tsunoda, Alonso, Norris, Stroll, and Bottas.

Russell secures the second-fastest time, narrowly trailing Perez by only 0.3 seconds for the lead.

Perez tops the timing charts, surpassing Verstappen's record by a significant 1.4 seconds.

Verstappen, Hamilton, and Perez lead the field, followed closely by Magnussen, Piastri, and Sainz. Trailing behind are Leclerc, Gasly, Ocon, and Tsunoda.

FP1 has resumed in Miami.

Leclerc's FP1 session has concluded for today. Unfortunately, it's been quite a setback, especially since this was the sole practice session before the sprint qualifying.

Leclerc remains stuck on the circuit.

He's stuck halfway around the track, just after Turn 16, attempting to get his vehicle pointed in the correct direction again.
